Firefox のアドオンを作ってみる(2026年8月)

Firefox 用のサイトリンクを [タイトル](リンク) 形式でコピーするアドオンを作りたい。

Codex にやらせる

ローカルに作業ディレクトリを作って、あとは要望を伝えて適当に作った。

作ったアドオンを使ってみる。

Firefox で about:debugging#/runtime/this-firefox を開く
一時的なアドオンを読み込む… より manifest.json を読み込む
ツールバーにアドオンを配置する
使ってみる

審査のメモには次のように記載

No build step is required. This is a vanilla JavaScript/HTML/CSS WebExtension, and the submitted ZIP contains the exact files used by the extension. There is no bundling, minification, obfuscation, remote code, or external dependency.

The extension uses the active tab title and URL only after a user action, writes a Markdown link to the clipboard, and stores settings locally with browser.storage.local. It does not collect or transmit user data.

ソースコードの提出

アップロードした拡張ファイルの中身だけでは、人間が読めない・元のコードを再現できない場合に必要らしい。
